hello.
i was thinking about the picture painted for me moments ago: jefferson sommerstorm was up midway on mount rushwind. the air was thick with cold and the squalls beat hard on his face. he had been climbing this cursed mountain for 7 months now. he blames himself for listening to grandma cakes' stories about the chamber of stars found at the other side of the mount. who gives a freaking crap about freaking stars?! i'm cold, hungry and my nose is breaking! he looks down, its too far down. he looks up, its still a lot more to go. well, to be very frank, jefferson is pretty much screwed. he breaks into an angry fit.
he starts thinking about lazy summer days lying in the bench by the pool. slurping on passion fruit smoothies and crazy whiskey parties at night with the neighbours. and who could forget aunt wendy's brownies with vanilla ice-cream! ahh~ those sweet sweet days.... at the bottom of this stupid mountain! in moments like these, you don't really care much for anything... that includes stars. someone beam me out of here!
jefferson was living in a 'a land before time' moment. where the long neck dinosaur was running away from the evil t-rex and went through obstacles to find the land of tree stars. on the way, he thought back to the old days (where his grandparents was still alive) and sobs in his sleep. he remembers the good days where things are comfortable. just before his grandmother passed away, she told him about a safe haven with loads of tree stars. he sets off in faith in his heart, with fear in his mind... but in the end, he found the place, and it was really good like grandma said! sure, there were days in the journey where he felt like giving up. tiredness did its wear and tear, insecurity sunk in... but he is happy he stuck to his goal. and he was where he was supposed to be. he lived happily by the time the movie was near ending. but in part 2, the safety was breached by a t-rex. but that's another story... :l
jefferson looked up. up it is i guess. sian.
